A very nice Mexican restaurant. Decor and music set the stage. Service was prompt and efficient. Food was very nice. Flavored with spices, but not overwhelmed by them. A nice, dry Spanish rice and very fresh avocados added to our pleasure.

With such mixed reviews I was weary to try them, but I really wanted some Mexican food. I was not disappointed in any way! It was a week night and the restaurant was a little over half full. We were seated immediately, followed shortly by chips, salsa, and water. The salsa is a chunky salsa (not watery) and the chips were good. My margarita was perfect! Tasted like it was freshly made with real lemon, lime, and good tequila. Our food came out quickly and all of it was delicious! I had a chicken chimichanga, my picky eater daughter had two chicken enchiladas (and ate both of them, plus half a basket of chips scooping up the refried beans!), my son had the Jalisco Burrito (and couldn't finish it! It was too big and he eats big meals). Our drinks including our waters were never empty for long, the staff was very attentive without being overbearing. And to make it even better everything was reasonably priced! We will be back for more deliciousness!

I always really like the food here. It is usually nice and quiet when all the other restaurants in town are booked up and packed full. My husband says he "doesn't like their mexican" food though, so I guess it comes down to who you ask.

Love this place. I like to stop here whenever I’m driving through Lake City. Preferably after a long day of trout fishing.

Service is top notch, and you will always see one of the owners present! Every dish we've had has been fantastic with absolutely no complaints. There is a small selection of American food as well if you have picky guests or kids joining. ...

We have enjoyed dining here for many years because... consistent. When friends or family visit we know where to go. Everyone likes it. We gave never had a bad experience. There are occasional specials. It is a small venue so it can be quiet but is packed at peak times. Food is the typical pleasing the norteamericano fare yet with many options. Filling and reasonably priced. Try something new. They also have a food truck at many events. Guadalupe and staff are a part of the community. The restaurant business is very difficult and restaurants come and go. They are obviously doing something right.

Love eating here: food is tasty, nicely spiced and lots of it,. Excellent service. Fun for birthday (made the hubby wear a sombrero)! Last time we were there was very turned off by the waitress with the icky long fingernails---she tapped on our table and napkins with them. Yuck.
